The “dark stylish” RPG is set in modern times where two worlds exist: the real world and the crazed spiritual world. Players are “MIND Users”

who possess the unique ability to summon their Persona-like counterparts. Batles in Mind 0 are command-based, and make use of each characters’ MIND.

Further details are still to be announced, but judging by the screenshots, we can see that it’s 3D, turn-based, and features manga-like sound pop-ups.

Revealed characters so far include the cool protagonist Kei Takanashi, the athletic heroine Sana Chiaki, the cheerful dope Shishi Akihina, and the detective Youichi Okata.

 

 

 

Acquire’s recently teased PlayStation Vita game is called Mind 0 (stylized MIND≒0), the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

The game, developed in collaboration with Class of Heroes studio Zerodiv, is a dark and stylish school dungeon RPG featuring character designs by Kyo, scenario by Minato Kushimachi, and sound by Zizz Studio.

The game will have two worlds—the real world and a crazy spiritual world—the latter in which players can use a special MIND (Mental Inside Nobody Doll) ability to call forth their Persona-like counterparts.

It will have fully voiced scenes, 3D turn-based battles, and 2D adventure game-like conversation scenes. When you strike enemies, you’ll see onomatopoeic words like “Barin!” and “Zugyan.”

Settings include Akihabara, Yokohama, Amamiya, and Nippori. It should be noted that these are written in kanji different from the names of the actual areas in Japan.

The game starts at Saitama Prefecture high school.

Find a set of characters and their voice actors below:

• Kei Takanashi (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita) – The protagonist. He’s cool and caring.
• Sana Chikage (voiced by Rina Satou) – The heroine. She enjoys physical activity, is loyal, quick to act, and relied on by everyone. Her MIND is an elf-like character.
• Leo Asahina (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura) – An endlessly cheerful dope. His MIND is a demon-looking character.
• Yoichi Ogata (voiced by Takehito Koyasu) – A detective. His MIND is a Japanese doll-like character.

Development on Mind Zero is currently 70 percent complete. The game is due out this summer for 6,279 yen in Japan.

 

 

 

• Kanade Sakyou (CV: Yuuki Kaji) – a boy who who bewilders the crew with his words, which could be taken as either advice or prognostication.
• Kotone Shiragiku (CV: Minori Chihara) – a mysterious girl who appears before Kei (the protagonist). She lacks self confidence and does not get along well with others.
• While she is aware of this, she can’t take a step towards conquering it.

Also revealed, during battle, players can freely call out and dismiss their MIND counterparts with the L button. While your MIND is out, button inputs change, your attack power increases,

but your MP gradually decreases. If you run out of MP, a MIND “break” occurs and you won’t be able to act.

 

 

 

LP and MP

Two of the player’s three gauges:

• Life Points (LP): Indicates the physical strength of the player.
• MIND Points (MP): Indicates the MIND energy of the player.

High Attack Power

When your MIND is summoned, unlike normal attacks, you will be able to deal a greater amount of damage to enemies.

MIND Guard

When your MIND is summoned, your LP will decrease as you fight and hold back enemies. Your MP will also decrease.

MIND Break

When your MP falls to zero, “MIND Break” will be invoked and the summoned MIND will have no further turns. If an enemy unleashes a powerful attack, you could be in a pinch depending on the situation.

Вкратце: Стильный клон Персоны 3(по описанию реверансов порядочно, даже типажи персонажей похожие, и игра начинается в старшей школе):

Реальный[Япония современная] и параллельный мир, в котором происходит полный майндфак, а что к чему там, вы должны выяснить сами, даром что один из ГГ детектив.

Игра по сути данжеон-кроулер со всеми вытекающими.

Бои пошаговые в 3д, герои дерутся призванными MIND существами ака Персонами. Их можно будет менять прямо на ходу во время боя, но за их использование

будут тратиться не только МП, но и ХП (постепенно), кроме этого даже управление ими меняется.
